AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
THE OFFICIAL WETLAND OVERLAY DISTRICT MAP
FILE #15-377013797
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORONO, MINNESOTA ORDAINS:
Section 1. The Municipal Code of the City of Orono is hereby amended by amending the
official wetland overlay district boundary to include wetlands located on the property at 460
Orchard Park Road, said property legally described as follows:
Lots 5, 6, 7, 9 and Lot 10 except the Northerly 100 feet of the Westerly 177 feet thereof,
Orchard Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
The aforesaid property is being platted into two building lots to be known as Lots 1 and 2,
Orchard Farms. The wetlands within the Plat of Orchard Farms are designated on the official
plat of Orchard Farms as "Drainage Easement". Said easements exclude an area of deminimus
fill of wetland approved for driveway construction. The Official Wetland Overlay District Map
is hereby amended for the above described property by rezoning to include only those wetlands
shown as "Drainage Easements" within the plat of Orchard Farms.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be published in the Laker and Pioneer newspapers and shall
be effective upon publication.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held on the
14th day of December, 2015 by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays.
