RESOLUTION NO. 710
RESOLUTION DENYING APPLICATION FOR VARIANCE
FOR PROPERTY AT 3580 NORTH SHORE DRIVE
WHEREAS , Frank Slawson has applied for variances to 1ot.
area and lot width for an addition to a residence on a substand-
ard lot located at 3580 North Shore Drive, and -
WHEREAS , the City Council and Planning Commission have
r�viewed the application,
� NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
l. That the applicatzon for the variance for lot area
. and lot width be denied.
� 2. That the proposed addition would result in extremely
dense conditions of twelve feet between the main structures on
both sides of the subject residence.
3. That part of the proposed addition would be built within
� the 75 foot lakeshore setback restriction of the Orono ordinances
resulting in additional non-filtered storm water runoff into Lake
Minnetonka. ' �
4. That there is no unique hardship to justify a granting
of a variance.
The foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Council
of the City of� Orono by a vote of three ayes and 0 nays on
. September 13, 1976.
