ORDINANCE NO 138 , THIRD SERIES
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14-134 OF
THE ORONO MUNICIPAL CODE
BY REVISING THE RESPONSIBILITITES FOR WATER SERVICE REPAIRS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF ORONO ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Orono Municipal Code Section 14-134 regarding service pipes is hereby
amended to read it is the responsibility of the property owner or building occupant to repair frozen service
pipes between the curb stop into the house or other building.
SECTION 2. establishes that a summary of this Ordinance shall be published in THE
PIONEER and THE LAKER newspapers and that the Ordinance in its entirety shall be effective
upon approval and publication of the Summary Ordinance.
This Summary Ordinance is an abbreviated summary of Ordinance No. 137 , Third Series. A printed
copy of Ordinance No. _ 13 7 , Third Series in its entirety is available for inspection by any person at the
office of the City Clerk during regular office hours. This ordinance becomes effective immediately upon
publication.
ADOPTED this 9th day of February, 2015 on a vote of _�_ ayes and o nays by the City
Council of Orono, Minnesota.
