HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd #124-3rd Ser/ An Ordinance Amending Rezoning RR-1B Single Family RR to RPUD Planned Unit DevelopmentORDINANCE NO. 124, THIRD SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF ORONO AND AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP BY REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTIES FROM RR -1B SINGLE FAMILY RURAL RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO RPUD RESIDENTIAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT - FILE #14-3685 WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and WHEREAS, The Broadway Group, LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company, has applied for subdivision and rezoning of portions of the properties located at 2350 Watertown Road and xxx Willow Drive North from RR -113 Single Family Rural Residential District to RPUD Residential Planned Unit Development in order to allow for development of single family residential lots; and WHEREAS, the property to be rezoned to RPUD is legally described as Lots through 5, Block 1; Lots 1 and 2, Block 2; and Outlot B, OLIVER HILL, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter the "Property"); and WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the rezoning of said properties per the findings, terms and conditions of Resolution No. 4637 adopted August 25, 2014, and the PUD \'o. 8 Agreement between The Broadway Group, LLC and the City of Orono executed on August 25, 2014. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORONO DOES HEREBY ORDAIN: Section 1. The Municipal Code of Orono is amended by amending the official zoning map and zoning district boundaries for the property described as follows: Lots 1 through 5, Block 1; Lots 1 and 2, Block 2, and Outlot B, OLIVER HILL, Hennepin County, Minnesota, Said property is hereby rezoned from RR -1B Single Family Rural Residential District to RPUD Residential Planned Unit Development District, Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect only upon execution of the PUD No. 8 Agreement, which Agreement shall govern future development of the Property. Section 3. This ordinance shall be published in The Laker and The Pioneer newspaper and small be effective upon publication.
