AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 78-72
OF THE ORONO CITY ZONING CODE
REGARDING LOTS OF RECORD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, on July 8, 2013, Ordinance No. 10� Third Series,
was adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, because of the lengthy nature of Ordinance No.
108 , Third Series, the following summary of the ordinance has been prepared for publication.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the ordinance adopted by the Council amends Section 78-
72 of the Orono City Code. The ordinance amends the Lots of Record provisions by clarifying
that Section 78-72(b) applies only to non-Shoreland properties, and that Section 78-72(c) applies
only to Shoreland properties. The ordinance additionally clarifies use of the term "R district" by
adding text changes that specifically reference the various Zoning District prefixes including "R-
", "LR-", and"RR-".
A printed copy of the complete ordinance is available for inspection by any person during
the City's regular office hours.
