HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd #093-3rd Ser/ Private docks ORDINANCE NO. 93 , THIRD SERIES CITY OF ORONO HENNEPIN COUNTY,MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 78 REGARDING PRIVATE DOCKS IN ZONING DISTRICTS LR-lA,LR-1B, LR-1C,LR-1C-1 AND RS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORONO, MINNESOTA ORDAINS: SECTION 1. The following language has been added to Section 78-304(6) of the Orono City Code: (1) Private docks, subject to this code and other applicable regulations, including boat storage density requirements. The accessorv use of a private dock shall not include rentin�space, SECTION 2. The following language has been added to Section 78-329(6) of the Orono City Code: (6) Private docks, subject to this code and other applicable regulations, including boat storage density requirements. The accessorv use of a private dock shall not include rentin�space, SECTION 3. The following language has been added to Section 78-349(6) of the Orono City Code: (6) Private docks, subject to this code and other applicable regulations, including boat storage density requirements. The accessorv use of a private dock shall not include rentin sg nace, SECTION 4. The following language has been added to Section 78-368(6) of the Orono City Code: (6) Private docks, subject to this code and other applicable regulations, including boat storage density requirements. The accessory use of a private dock shall not include rentin�space, SECTION 5. The following language has been added to Section 78-566(1) of the Orono City Code: (1) Docks conforming to city and Lake Minnetonka Conservation District regulations, not to exceed one slip per 50 feet of shoreline width, or a maximum of four slips per property, whichever is less. An annual joint-use dock license shall be required for any nonresidential dock and/or for any property having more than four slips. The accessorv use of a residential or non-residential private dock shall not include rentin�space, SECTION 6. Effective date. This ordinance shall be effective upon adoption and publication according to law. ADOPTED this 25�h day of June, 2012 by the Orono City Council.
