AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
CHAPTER 5 8 OF THE ORONO MUNTCIPAL CODE
BY A.DDING SECTION 58-72 PART C
REGARDING ENFORCEMENT OF SEPTIC CODE
The City Council of Orono, Minnesota ordains as follows:
SECTION 1. Municipal Zoning Code Chapter 58 Section 58-72, is hereby amended
by adding Section 58-72(C) to read as follows:
(C) Criminal Enforcement. Any person who violates any of the
provisions of this Chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor,punishable by imprisonment
or a fine or both as defined by law. In the event of a violation of this Chapter, in addition
to the other remedies, the City of Orono may institute appropriate actions or proceedings
to prevent, restrain, correct or abate such violations.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance sha11 be published in THE PIONEER and THE LAKER
newspapers and shall be effective upon approval and publication.
Adopted by the City Council of a Orono on this 25th day of July, 2005 by
a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays.
