AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF ORONO
BY REVISING THE BOUNDARY OF A CERTAIN PROTECTED WETLAND
ON THE CITY'S 1975 WETLAND INVENTORY AND CLASSIFICATION MAP
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORONO ORDAIl�TS:
Section 1. The Municipal Code of Orono is hereby amended by anlending the official Wetla�ld
Inventory and Classification Map referenced in Code Section 78-1109(a)(2), as follows:
A. That certain niapped wetland within the NW quarter of the SE quarter of Section 27,
Township 118 N,Range 23 W, located primarily within Lot 2, Block 2, Long Lake
Country Club Addition,and mapped as a Type 2,"Fd"(Fill)wetland of area 1.2 acres,
is hereby deleted from the aforesaid Map.
B. That certain wetland occurring primarily within Lot 2,Block 2,Long Lake Country Club
Addition,delineated by Aquatic EcoSolutions,Inc.as reported onNovember 18,2002,
and as approved by the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District in a letter dated June 24,
2004,and with boundaries as depicted on the Certificate of Survey by Mark S.Gronberg
dated February 6,2004 which is attached hereto as Exhibit A,is hereby added to the
official Wetland Inventory and ClassificationMap as aType 2,(PEM1B)wetland of area
approximately 0.19 acres.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be published in the Laker/Pioneer newspaper and shall be effective
upon publication.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono,Minnesota at a regular meeting held on the 25th day
of October, 2004 by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays.
