VILLAGE OF ORONO
' RESOLUTION N0.162
� Authorizing and ordering acquisition of real estate by purchase
• for future Village uses.
WHEREAS, certain property hereinafter described is situated in
the Village of Orono, said property is suited for Village purposes and
the Village contemplates needing and using said property in the near or
immediate _future for purposes of locating thereon a Village park or
. playground thereon, or �or other Village purposes, said property consists
of: �
Parts of Lots 3 and 4, Block 7, Townsite of Langdon
Park, and is described in Exhibit A attached hereto,
and is owned by Knute J. Norgard and Lea E. Norgard,
husband and wife, '
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the
, Village of Orono, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the Village acquire by negotiated purchase the
f ee title to the above property for a price not in
excess of $ 2�400.00 .
, 2. That the acquisition of said property is neces.sary and
incidental for Village purposes, and that the acquisi-
tion is and will be for a public use as provided for
and authorized by law.
, Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Orono, Minnesota,
, at a meeting held _ October 24� , 1966 .
