Dear Mr. Windschitl,
The following is our review summary of the structural adequacy of the existing support framing for the
replacement of antennas at the above referenced Verizon site.
The existing Verizon antennas are mounted near the catwalk of an existing steel water tower located in
Orono, Minnesota. A total of twelve antennas divided into three sectors of four antennas each are
supported by steel beams which span between the tower legs and each is connected to these legs.
Two existing 90.5" tall antennas in each sector are proposed to be replaced with two new 95.7" tall
antennas. Weight of the new antennas is about the same as the existing antennas. Sizes of the new
antennas are slightly larger than the existing antennas. The new antennas will be mounted on the
existing steel pipes
Review of the structural impacts from the antenna replacement on the existing support framing has been
performed and the existing support framings are adequate.
If you have any questions, or if we may be of further assistance, please call me direct at 612-789-1313.
Sincerely,
Buildings Consulting Group,Inc.
