Jim,
I don't recall which inspector was last out to the island for the last inspection, but in that
inspection the inspector noted we needed a fire block at the top of the porch fireplace chase
(the fireplace in the great room was already fire blocked). Attached for your files is the photo
we took showing that fire block on the porch fireplace before we closed it up for applying the
stone veneer.
