City of ORONO <br />CITY <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF NO. 2379 <br />R• • <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br />A CONDITIONAL 082 PERNNIT <br />PER NRQNNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.20, SUBDIVISION 3(G) <br />PILE #1212 <br />WHEREAS, Kathryn and Andrew Duncanson (hereinafter "the <br />applicants") are the owners of the property located at 690 North Brown <br />Road located within the City of Orono (hereinafter "City") and <br />legally described as follows: <br />See Exhibit A attached herewith, (hereinafter "the <br />property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City of Orono <br />for a Conditional Use Permit to permit the installation of a <br />caretaker apartment within their principal residence per Municipal <br />Zoning Code Section 10.20, Subdivision 3(G). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />Minnesota: <br />FINDINGS <br />1. This application was reviewed as Zonir-] File #1242. <br />2. :he property is located in the RR -1B, Rural Residential <br />Zoning District requiring a minimum of 2 acres of dry contiguous <br />land. The subject property consists of 15+ acres of dry <br />contiguous land. <br />3. On February 16, 1988, the Orono Planning Commission held a <br />public hearing to review the application and recommended approval <br />of tie application as proposed based on the following findings: <br />R) The property meets all standards of the RR -1B Zoning <br />District. <br />b) The interior primary access is via a finished area within <br />the principal residence. <br />c) Adequate parking is provided both within the garage and <br />the outside parking area on the property. <br />d) The septic system has been designed so that it will meet <br />the demands of the additional residential apartment unit. <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
