Re: Sewer Connection
Dear Mrs.
Olson: -Pursuant to the City Council action of September 15, 1980 and my
letter to you of September 17, 1980, you Were to provide a signed
letter of agreement and a $5,000 performance bond BEFORE
September 30, 1980 or there Would be no extension of time and your
sewer connection must be completed this fall.
Your letter of. September 16, 1980, received September 19, 1980,
failed to agree to sewer connection before June 1, 1980 per the
City Council action.
You and/or your representative have not provided any performance
' bond to date, 16 days after the September 30, 1980 deadline.
Consequently, you are hereby isouud a citation for failing to
connect your home to an available public sewer as required by
Sections 25.160 and 22.20, Subd. 2.1 of the Orono Municipal Code.
This violation is a misdemeanor punishable by up to a $500.00 fine
and/or 90 days in jail.
Please contact my office for permits necessary to complete the
sewer connection. Additional citations will be issued if the permits
arR not applied for within the next 30 days.
