A RESOLUTION TO CREATE THE POLICE CAPITAL FUND
WHEREAS,the police service contacts with Minnetonka Beach and Spring Park refer to
retaining unspent budgeted funds into a Police CIP; and
WHEREAS,the funds have been being transferred to the Permanent Improvement
Revolving(PIR)Fund; and
WHEREAS,the PIR fund is designed to provide temporary funding for projects that do
not have a permanent funding source which varies from the concept of retained funds, and;
WHEREAS,the PIR through 12/31/2022 has retained funds in the amount of$430,859;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Police Capital Fund be created
through a transfer of$430,859 from the PIR fund.
ADOPTED this p21 day of March , 3, by the City Council of the
City of Orono.
