Butler moved, 1Velsh seconded, to approve the
division of David Harrison, 10S Orono Orchard
Road.
Hassengale moved, Welsh seconded, to amend the
motion to require Ar. Harrison to pay S; of
the raw land value for Village park development.
Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (1). Councilman Dorn
Nay.
Butler moved, Welsh seconded, to approve
the Harrison division as amended. Motion,
Ayes (S) - Nays (0).
The variance for Benhardus was held over
until the June 11, 1973 meeting.
Butler moved Hasse.. ale seconded, to approve
the Hill variance. The Council recognized
that no additional land could be purchased
to meet other code requirements and that the
number of square feet of land that now exists
is about equal to one acre. ?.lotion, Ayes (5)
Nays (0) .
Dorn moved, Butler seconded, to approve the
preliminary plat for Roy Starkey, subject to
the proposed road being done on a right angle
entrance to County Road 6 and the plat must
snow this so that the Council will know that
the "S" curve has been eliminated. Hennepin
County must submit comments to the Village
staff on this plat. Mr. Starkey must move
the easement for future road 5' more to the
south so that it will create a 20' side yard
setback. Five percent of the raw land value
is to be collected for Village park purposes.

Butler moved, Ifelsh seconded, to approve
the Gary Mondale variance in accordance with
Mr. Marston's flay 11, 1973 memo to Council.

Butler moved, Welsh seconded, to approve the
Dan Soba varance at 3186 North Shore Drive.

Welsh moved, Dorn seconded, to approve the
Robert Winton division. Motion, Ayes (S) -
Nays (0).
Butler moved, Welsh seconded, to approve the
Perry Gobel division and variance by recognizing
the difficulities encountered as listed in Hr.
Marston's memo to Planning Commission dated
May 21, 1973. Hotion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0).
