Kullberg moved, Guthrie seconded, that the VARIANCE
approval of a variance for four horses and (Continued)

reviewal and approval by the Park Commission

Ryerse moved, Kullberg seconded, that a
variance begranted in the widtA and acreage
requirement for Parcels 2700 $ 2900 in
Tonkaview Gardens because such a request
is compatible with the character of the
neighborhood and because it would be impossible
for Mr. Hill to acquire any more property.

'sr. Starkey explained that the road that would
provide access to the new lots curved as it
approached County Road 06 because of the
terrain. Mr. Starkey was also agreeable to
extending an easement to the south lot line
as well as move the east -west easement shown
on the preliminary plat S' to the south to
allow the existing home an adequate setback
for a side yard facing a street.
Paurus moved, Ryerse seconded, that approval
of the division be granted, subject to the
adequate dedication of the SO' easements
for present and future roads and utilities.
Motion, Ayes (6) - Nays (0).
Gasch asked for an explanation of tie
perculation test supplied by Mills Engineering.
Mr. Uondale claimed that Mr. Scheller, the
Building Inspector, informed him that the test
indicated that an adequate septic system could
be constructed.
Gasch moved, Guthrie seconded, that a variance

created before the present zoning ordinance
and the Hondale lot was the same size as the
surrounding lots that have been developed.

Mr. Bolin explained that his existing home
was destroyed by fire and he would like to
move the location of the new home to meet
the 10' setback requirement but not move it
so far that a new well would be required.
The new home would be 70' from the lake,
which would be in line wit., the surrounding
homes but because of the shape of the lot
would require a variance of 60' in lot widta.
