Searles moved, Gasch aeconded, that the PRELIMINARY PLAT
Cheyenne preliminary plat be tabled until Cheyenne Land Company
January 21, 1974, at which time the Planning
Commission should have more information
regarding the Comprehensive Plan. Motion,
Ayes (7) - days (0).
Mr. Bet1W requested that his name be with- VARIANCE
drawn from the agenda to allow his to get 3775 Bayside Road (�
additional information from the Hennepin
County Highway Department.
Commissioners Searles and Van Nest explained COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
a proposal to change the zoning classifications
in the Village. It was decided that the
Planning Commission members should be allowed
to study the proposal and a special meeting
an Deossbsr 26, 1973 should be held to discuss
the matter further.
The Planning Commission members agreed with
the intent of the new ordirance as presented
by the Zoning Administrator and asked that
this information be put into an ordinance
format.
The Planning Commission asked that the
following changes be Sade in the ordinance
as it was presented:
38.001 - It should be clear that name
plates do not need permits.
38.022 - Sign illumination in residential
districts should be allowed only as part
of a conditional use.

The Planning Womission members agreed that SIZE OF PLANNING COMMISSION
by reducing the size of the Commissi m from
11 numbers to 9 members, that perhaps each
individual would feel more responsible
for contributing and less apt to expect others
to do all the work.
Guthrie moved, Paurus seconded, that the k:)JOORNHZNT
meeting be adjourned at 12:40 A. M. Motion,
