Patrick Maloney, representing the Wayzata Yacht Club, presented plans for a proposed >>arina on lot A. Morse Island Park, Big Island. Mr. Maloney replied there would be no buildings in the present proposal, merely picnic tables and barbecue pits and braziers. VARIANCE ON LOT SIZE AND SETBACK Stephen Saunders Mr. Stephen Saunders was present to discuss a variance on lot size from the present two- acre zoning to 9,300 square feet in lot 19, Albee'p Addition, and a variance on front lot setback to conform to neighboring property. After a brief discussion regarding the merits of the proposal, members decided that more time would be required to study the lot as the size was nowhere near the required two acres and there would be septic problems. Krawer Mr. C. L. Kramer was present in his behalf on the division and variance of lots 64-71, part of lots 65 § 70, Orono Orchards, Parcel 492C. He recently sold a house off this parcel with 7,400 square feet consisting of lot 64 only, leaving lot 71 and part of lots 65 5 70. He wished to combine the reriinder with lot 72 and construct a residence. Since no precedent had been established by previous cases as this and due to the minimal lot size of divide ! parcel, consisting of 7,400 square feet in a one and one-half acre zone, it was decided to table this for further study. Nichclls moved, Dongoske seconded, that the request be tabled for further study. Motion, Ayes (3) - Nays (0). BUILDING PERMIT AND VARIANCE Robert Day Discussion was held regarding the proposed building of a warehouse on Parcel 2240, Section 33. The property is two-plus acres in "I" Zone. A residence is not allowed in the "I” Zone only under a conditional use and then only if necessary for security and safety. There also was question as to the need for a setback variance. It was recommended that both of these be studied further before final action. Dongoske moved, Nicholls seconded, that the request be tabled for further study. Motion, Ayes (3) - Nays (0).
