Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission,
May 19, 1969
The Planning Commission met on the above
date with the following members present:
Chairman Russell, Nichblls, O’Malley,
Bartig, and McCarthy, Absent: Uongosko.
Lawrence Fvrquist, 3895 North Shore Drive,
Section 1 Parcel 3800-4010, presented
his case, asking for usage of 20’ of
adjacent property at 3885 North Shore Drive,
Section 17, Parcel 4020, to stockpile
his concrete products to better balance
his output.
Russell moved, Nicholls seconded, that there
be a public hearing on this usage in as
far as Mr. Berquist is a non-conforming use;
also, that the house at 38SS North Shore
Drive be removed and the entire property
.be devoted to this usage in the event
rpermission is granted. >fotion. Ayes (5) -
Nays (0),
No action was taken on the Dr. Gordon
division as there was no representation and
status was the same as the last reviewing.
Russell moved, McCarthy seconded, that
C. Wesley Beckett, owner of Lot 4, Loma
Linda, Parcel 800, 1050 Loma Linda Avenue,
be given permission to dispose of his lot
as a buildable lot with the provision
that sewer hookup be made when available.
Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0).
David Dillman is requesting permission
*10 move a house in on Lot 1, Johnson’s
.Rearrangement of Albees. Messrs. Eklund
and Olen, who own nearby property, presented
their aversions to moving the house in,
principally, that the lot was not suitable
.to build on.
Nicholls moved, McCarthy seconded, that the
move be allowed provided the Village
Engineer determines whether an adequate
septic system could be installed. Motion,

MINUTES OF A REGUUR MEETING HELD MAY 19, 1969
Herman Renner has asked for a variance for
a garage sideyard setback from the required
10’ to 5’ at 3180 North Shore Drive, part of
Lot 5, Block 2, Crystal Bay Park.
Russell moved, Nicholls seconded, that the
variance be allowed, with the provision
that the garage is not placed on placted
View Avenue, since this could be a sewer
easement at a later date. »’otion, Ayes (5) «

3180 North Shore Drive
Robert Armstrong presented a new plat
for the division of his property at 235
North Arm Lane. He explained the new
changes, showed contours and grades, and
his efforts to conform with the Villapc
Engineer's recommendations for this
division. It was decided that a meeting
be held with the members and Mr. Armstrong
at the site at 9:00 A.M., Sunday, May 25,
1969.

James Dargovel is requesting permisrion

It was decided that members should view
the lots with owner or agent at 9:15 A.M.,
Sunday, May 25, 1969, before any decision
bo mado as to the rearrangement.

Bartig moved, McCarthy seconded, that the
request of James Carson, 1317 North Arm
Drive, for a garage setback variance from
the required 35' front to 8’ and sideyard
from 10' to 6’ on his property. Lot 3,
Block 7, Saga Hill Revised, Parcel 1300.
be allowed. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0).
