RtgUltr^Meeting of the Planning Comission,
The Planning Comaission met on the above
date with the following inenbers present:
Chairnan Russell, ^tcCarthy, Nicholls, and
O'Malley, Absent: Bartig ami Donooske.
Mrs, Hollander represented herself along
with Messrs, Peterson, Guthrie, and Andrews,
in showing the plat of a proposed division
of her property at 32S Sixth Avenue North.
Since the plat shown was not detailed enough
to clearly define the division, the following
conditions were layed down for approval:
A SO* easenent be deciated allowing access
to any property not on County Road i6; that
the R-IA zoning of two acres be adherred to;
that property be a Registered Land Survey.
Russell noved, McCarthy seconded, that the
division be approved subject to the afore
said conditions. Motion, Ayes (4) - Na/s (0).
^Chairiaan Russell having previously viewed
^j|the property at 2486 Casco Point Road as a
builoable lot, noted that the nroperty
substantially conformed with other properties
in the area. An appropriate agreement should
be negotiated regarding the Village street
which now encroaches on a portion of this
corner property.
Russell moved, O'Malley seconded, that the
lot be approved as a buildablc lot. Motion,
Ayes (4) - Nays (0).
After reviewing the garage application and
plat of the property of William Meyers, 1090
Loaa Linda Avenue, it was decided that the
frontyard variance from 35' tj IS* and
side-yard variance from 10' to S' conformej
with otners in the neighborhoed and thft the
same variance had been granted n. 19^7 to
an adjacent neighbor.

view of the fact that the lot did not neet
the area zoning requirements and was not in
single separate ownership, the application

The application of Charlton Moorhead,
1119 Lome Linda Avenue, was reviewed.

McCarthy moved, Nicholls seconded, that
since the property had been In single
separate ownership since 19S7, the lot
be considered buildable when combined and
sewer be hooked up when available.
Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0).
The plat of the Oak Street area was studied
by members. The recommendation was made
that since most properties run through
from the street to the lake. Oak Street
was unnecessary and should be vacated.
STREET VACATION
Oak Street
iRussell moved, O'Malley seconded, that a
^blic hearing be held on the vacation
thereof and adjacent property owners be
notified. Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0).
Mrs. Charles Kelly represented Edward
Cashin in an application foi a division
of property at 1305 Shoreline Drive into
two lots. Three acres to go with present
buildings and the remainder,52*32 acres
as a building lot.

Discussion was held by members on the topic
of Highway #15. It was recommended that
a study of the Navarre area should be made
by the Commission; that they request
Ipermission from the Village Council to
^make a preliminary study of the approaches
from the north to Navarre; that the owner
of the property in Navarre be asked to join
