Dear A1:
We recommend approval of the subject septic system
application. On August 9, 1977, we commented on the
unsuttability of the soils because the percolation rates
averaged less than 60 UPI. Since that time we have again reviewed
the application and have noticed that the proposal includes a
four feet trench with 6 -inches of Foamy sand beincr placed between
the filter material and the original soil. This practice is
recommended in WPC -40 for sites having percolation rates
between 60-19() 11PI. Therefore, we recommend approval.•
We further recommend that you inspect the site
during construction to insure that the loamy sand is placed
in accordance with the application.
