The main difference in the proposed vs as-built is the installation of 4' retaining walls instead of the proposed slopes.

Our engineer has reviewed and approved the as-built for 200 Bederwood's new home permit (2009-00513). It is
noteworthy that the approved plans for building permit did not reflect any retaining walls on site. The as-built survey
reflects that retaining walis were constructed. These have been deemed acceptable by our engineer, however there was
no requested change to the approved plans for these walls, nor were permits issued. Please be aware in the future a
permit is required for�wall constructed on a property and changes to the approved site plan are required before the
changes are made on site.
I will authorize the issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy for the home at 200 Bederwood today. The property owner
should be advised to request a refund of the building permit escrow in writing if it hasn't already been requested.
