Absent: Dongoske, Elliott, Kuhlemeier, Kullberg, and Nicliolls. Councilman Dorn also present. Henry Knoblauch, 815 Brown Road, Parcel 9014, Section 27, represented himself in a division of his property into two lots. Menbers studied his plat and also recently divided property to the north and south. It id that ti DIVISION 815 Brown Road was noted that the plat as submitted was awkward and that by a rearrangement of lines a better division could be made. Mr. Knoblauch stated he merely wished to divide the six plus acres into fvo lots to separate the residence alr:'>.:lr :>n the property from a parcel so he coula construct a new residence, ile concurred with their thinking on the rearrangement. Gasch moved, Southworth seconded, that the plat be modified and that he bring a ^preliminary plat to the Council as recom­ mended by the Commission. Foresaid plat is marked ’’Document A'* in the file and divided into parcels "A** and ”B". Motion, Ayes (6) • Nays (0). Robert Taylor, 3940 Watertown Road, Section 32, Parcel 4300, represented himself in an application for a conditional use permit, as required under Section 34.026 of the Municipal Code, to construct a private riding stable 50* X 60*. Since there was .a CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 3540 Watertown Road mailing on this to affected property owners, Mied to be heard.Poisson asked if anybody wished After it was determined nobody wished to speak on the matter, Mr. Taylor explained that he had a stable and this was merely t private place to ride in inclement weather, lie stated he could not meet the 100’ setback as required under the ordinance but would be 67’ from the Child property and 57’ from the Dalton property. Herfurth moved, Parten seconded, that a ^conditional use permit be recommended for 'a private riding stable and that a variance be required to reduce the side setback from 100’. AMS Poisson movedf Southworth seconded, that business aeetinns be held on the first and third Monday of each month and the last part of the meetings be used -to discuss village planning; also, that since there would now be two meetings a month, that all applications for hearings would be presented at least 10 days ahead of the meeting to allow ample study by members. Motion, Ayes (6) - Nays (0). TWO MONTHLY MEETINGS Southworth moved, Ga«;ch seconded, that members meet on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 12 noon for a luncheon at a designated cafe to review tlie upcoming agenda and plan for viewing of affected sites. The first such meeting would bs at the Buckhorn Cafe, Long Lake, March 22, 1971. Motion, Ayes (6) • Nays (0) LMNCIIEON MEETINGS The meeting adjourned at 8:45 P.M. Respectfully submitted.
