After previously reviewing this Study, the Planning Ccnmission agreed to make the following comnents, sug gestions and reconnendations: EVALUATION OF HENNEPIN COUNTY TRANSPORTATION STUDY Preservation of Lake Minnetonka is the primary underlying goal of our recently adopted Coaiprehensive Guide Plan. As a result the Village of Orono has established land use policies that are intended to protect Lake Minnetonka from the adverse effects of noor quality storm water run off. Diverting heavy commiting and comnercial traffic from using roadways traversing the center of Lake Minnetonka (Co. Rd. 15 6 19) is equally important to the protection of Lake Minnetonka as establishing the restrictive land use policies. Therefore the following recomnendations are most important: Orono, along with Wayzata and Minnetonka Beach might consider acquiring Co. Rd. #15 for better control. . * • 1.
