The Planning Coadssion met on the above date with the following members present: Chairman Guthrie, Fesek, McDonald, Curtis, Van Nest, Hake, Dunlap, Hannah. Absent: Gasch, Kallestad, Wboley Van Nest moved, Curtis seconded approval of the Minutes of the ^il 22, 1975 meeting with the following MiNurcs corrections: 1. Correct misspelling of Lomar "HiL 2. Strike line" a need for additional room" substitute "Ihis was not an excessive use of the lot". 3. List members absent from meeting. Motion, Ayes (8), Nay (0). Oberhauser, Mr. Nafstad, and Mr. Credin were present for this proposal. After reviewing the proposal and discussing possible dianges in the structures and site plan, the request was withdrawn by the applicant until sj^ time that they could prepare new plans with no more than five structures with total occupancy not to exceed ten living units. The^^anning Conadssion reviewed the stbdivision proposal as presented by Mr. Patch who was present. The frawii iTfrm hesitated to approve the proposal as the only means of ' fnmi the northwest parcel was directed to Co. Rd. #6. They felt the safety and welfare of the public should be considered and therefore an access to Tamarack Drive should be provided for any possible future sibdivision of this northMast parcel whereas traffic could be directed onto Go. Rd. #6 from Tamarack Drive. They, therefore, requested an additional SO* wide strip along the north ed|^ of the east parcel be included with the northwest parcel. The applicant felt this would not fit in with his original plans. li IIThe Planning ^ by egress to Tamarack Drive could be provided. oiSer- wise the proposal as presented would require a public hearing. Pesek moved. Hake seconded that a Public Hearing be held on Jiaie 2, 1975, regarding the above. Motion, Ayes (8) Nay (0). HERRICK C SUBDIVISION #13 Roger Patch 6th Avenue N. WwM: i ! , , s^ I .i3-- , i' PLANNING OOMSSION MINUTES FOR MEETING OF MAY 5, 1975 Mr. AhlB presented his proposal for a conditional use to constiuct a new residence on the above site by com bining all four parcels and vacated Oak Street as one single Mrcel. The existing structure would then be classified as a guest house. Our Zoning Code (Sec. 34.430) provides for guest houses in LR-IB zones with the approval of a conditional use. However, under the definition of guest house (Sec. 30.040) all lot require ments shall be met by the guest house. Therefore a variance would have to be approved to meet these lot requirements. Van Ifest moved, McDonald seconded to reconeend approval •of the variance subject to a combination of all four parcels and the vacated portion of Oak Street lying between these properties. Motion, Ayes (8), Nay (0). A work session followed. 11* V •. • •• • ‘ f*; r > m:.sSsfe 'W ■ '■'jv..
