Tiie Planning Commission met on the above date with the following members present: Chair­ man pro tern Van Nest, Elliott, Gasch, Guthrie, Hays, Kullberg, and Searles. Also present: Councilman Hassengale. Absent: Chairman Poisson, Kokesh, Nicholls, and Ryerse. Kullberg moved, Searles seconded, that the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of December 18, 1972, be approved, ffotion. Ayes (7) - Nays (0). MINUTES (fembers studied the proposed division of the Noerenberg estate dividing off the caretakers residence from the area designated as Hennepin County Park property to comply with the Noerenberg will. Discussion was held on what kind of oi^ership it would be, who the property would revert to at the demise of the o\mer and who would pay taxes. Searles was of tne opinion that the legalities of the division was not for the Planning Commission to studv and they should only be concerned witn whether the division met the R-IC requirement. Searles moved, Elliott seconded, that since the division did not meet zoning requirements, disapproval should be recommended. Motion, Ayes (7) - Nays (0). Searles gave members a paper laying down some proposals for a PUD ordinance made by the PUD study committee and members discussed the merits of these proposals. Councilman 'lassengale introduced Dexter Marston, newly hired Zoning Administrator, to members of the committee. Attention was called to the citizens meeting in conjunction with Planner Tom Loucks to be held on Wednesday, January 10, 1973, at 7:30 P.il, at the Orono Higii School. Kullberg moved, Elliott seconded, that the meeting be adjourned at 9:15 P.M. Motion, ^ Ayes (7) - Nays (0). Respectfully submitted.
