The Planning Commission met on the above date with the following members present: Acting Chairman Van Nest, Elliott, Gasch, Guthrie, Kullberg, Nicholls, and Searles. Absent: Hays, Kokesh, Poisson, and Ryerse. Kullberg moved, Gasch seconded, that the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of January IS, 1973, be approved. Motion, Ayes (7) - Nays (0), MINUTES The James Fullerton request for a division was tabled pending a complete explanation from the Village Attorney regarding the questions included in the memo of January 19, 1973. Mr. Ray O'Neal from IDS, and Mr. William Thorsen, representing the architectural firm under contract to IDS, presented their proposal for the southwest corner of the intersection of County Road #19 and #15. IDS is requesting that the Village approve their development which included a 143,750 sq. ft. shopping center and a 225 unit apartment complex. Mr. O'Neal .outlined alternatives that IDS has considered: 1. Build the shopping center and apartment complex as proposed. 2. Build the shopping center as proposed but reduce the number of apartment units if the first alternative is unacceptable to the Village. 3. If the first two alternatives are all unacceptable, build on the land as it is zoned in the commercial areas and sell off the rest of the land to a developer involved in single family development. Searles moved, Nicholls seconded, that a committee be appointed by Chairman Poisson to compile a standard set of figures regarding traffic generation and density credits allowed before further discussion takes place. Motion, Ayes (7) - Nays (0). DIVISION Fullerton Property I CONDITIONAL/USB .PERMIT STREET VACATION REZONING IDS Property - Navarre MINUTES OP A REGULAR MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 5, 1973 Mr, Thomas Loucks presented a preliminary Oror.o Comprehensive Plan for discussion and comment by the Planning Commission. !r. Searles was of the impression that this preliminary report did notthe ideals that were important to the comunity.
