Tourangcau, 1960 Shoreline Drive This application was made on July 26, 1978, Subsequent review involved applications #418 for a conditional use permit and #421 for a rezoning. Ordinance No, 214 adopted November 14, 1978 rezoned the B-»l service station property to LR-IA and Resolution No, 961 adopted December 18, 1978 set out findings and conditions relating to the continuing use of the service station as a non-conforming use. To date, the documentation has been completed to allow finalization of the subdivision. Physical improvements to be made on the property as conditions of the subdivision and the conditional use permit (curbing, fencing, station improvements) are the subject of a separate developer's agreement with completion required by October 15, 1979, or before reoccupancy, whichever occurs first. The entire area of the first floor Is 14,400 s.f. A grocery store will occupy 3,600 s.f. and the remainder of 10,800 s.f. Is designated for office space use. Now that the building Is receiving water service from Long Lake, a sprinkler system will be Installed. The Building Inspector Is working with Mr. Wear on the proposed plans. Firedoor with closer required on Furnace Room SBC/UBC Section 8C8. 4, Exit sign (Illuminated) needed on exit out of Narthex SBC/UBC Section 3312(b), 5, Storeroom must have one-hour fire protection - there are openings at the top of wall SBC/UBC Section 802, 6, Must have firedoor with closer on Storeroom SBC/UBC 802(d), 7, 8, One-hour firewall with firedoors must be provided between kitchen and sleeping area. PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING - MARCH 12, 1979 Planning Commission reviewed the joint application of the Church with their representative Mr. Jim Shaw, and Inge Clci the director of the proposed day care center. Staff has been advised to check the Calvary Memorial file for standards to determine the adequacy of the facility to operate as a church. Mrs. Cicl must await Orono's final determination before a license is issued for the day care center. STAFF NOTE AND RECOMMENDATION - MARCH 26. 1979 Joint Conditional Use Permit A. Church Operation Staff has reviewed the Calvary Memorial file as requested and has determined a guideline for revising this phase of the application.
