On November 25, 1988 percolation tests and soil borings were
taken on the above property in order to determine an alternate
drainfield area to be used because of 'a proposed addition climir.-
ating part of the present drainfield area.
We tested on the only flat area remaining which is on tho
north end of the lo, and found that while this area was filled
and graded and thus not the ideal location, it should still re-
main undisturbed in order to be used for a possible mound sys-
tem in the future if needed.
After meeting at the site with all parties involved, it
was decided to retain as much of the present drainfield as
possible, install two new 1000 gallon tanks and put in an add-
itional 500 square feet of drainfield trenches to the north of
the present trenches toward soil boring N 3 where some sandy
loam soils exist.
Thus, if any problems would arise in the future, a mound
would need to be installed in the area of percolation holes 1-3
and scil borings 1-2.
