Re: Percolation Test for Lot B Homesite near
County Road No. 6 and Tamarack Drive
Dear Mr. Patch:
soclosed are drawings and specifications for an on -land disposal
system for the above referenced project.
On March 21 and 25, 1976, percolation tests were conducted on
the above mentioned property at the locations described in
Figure 1 of the enclosed drawings. Testing consisted of two
soil borings, soil boring 1 to a depth of I feet, soil boring
2 to a depth of 4 feet and six percolation holes. Soils encountered
In soil boring 1 were loam over brown sandy clay and mottled sandy
clay. No groundwater was encountered in either soil boring bole.
Soils encountered in soil boring 2 were loam over brown sandy
clay.
Percolation rates for the test holes in the primary drainfield
area averaged 27 minutes per inch. For the alternate drainfield
area they averaged » minutes per inch.
Stated percolation rates are averaged for the locations shown
and no guarantee is implied or expressed that these conditions
exist for the entire proposed drainage area.
if we can be of further help please advise.
sincerely, J/, ra
