Re: Chimney Fire AtV, 3440 Haysido Road,'Oiono
It has hoen brought t o the attention of the inspection clepartnicnt that a
chimney fire occurred on the above rubject propertv on Decerrber 12,
1904.
The inspection department is requesting that you arrange access for an
inspection. This inspection is to verify that the chimney/wood
burning appliance is installed properly and in a safe condition.
This letter i s bei ng wri Lten ♦.o inforni you that ccrroctive act i on may be
required to bring your wood burning appliance into conformance with
the existing codes. Since the codes enforced by this department arc
minimum in nature, full compliance will insure at least a minimum
degree of safety.
Failure to make such installations can result in condi tions that may be
dangerous to the life, health or safety of the occupants. The sole
purpose of codes and inspection is to eliminate every possible
dangerous condition.
