Percolation Rate, Type of System. <br />22.0 minutes per inch, Shallow Trench System with interceptor drain. <br />2. Proposed Flow Rate. <br />5 possible bedrooms 0 150 6.P.D. = 750 6.P.D. <br />3. Soil Treatment Area Required. <br />1.67 percolation factor x 750 G.P.D. = 1250 Sq. Ft. <br />4. Size and Humber of Trenches. <br />5 trenches 3 feet wide and 83.3 feet long = 1250 Sq^,«EU* Ili?5U_yan|hes <br />would be spaced a minimum of 7.5 feet apart and bg^O.5 feet deep in^e <br />natural soil. . . .... <br />5. Drainfield Rock Needed. <br />46.3 cubic yds. of rock is needed to have 6 inches under and 2 inches over <br />a 4 inch distribution pipe. Black loam fill will be’needed over the top of <br />the trenches. <br />6. Septic Tanks. <br />Two septic tanks, of at least 1000 and 750 gallons are needed. In addition, <br />a third pumping tank and pump will be needed to reach the higher drainfield <br />ares. /OO O <5^ i-a I . <br />7. Additional Information. ' <br />All construction and materials must adhere to the provisions of the City of <br />Orono. Both the primary and alternate sites must be kept free from construe-- <br />tion traffic and grading since the alternate site may be needed.at some <br />r future time.
