RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
COUNCIL

RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AGREEMENT FOR
JOINT AND COOPERATIVE USE OF FIRE PERSONNEL
AND EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS,the City of Orono is a member of the Hennepin County Chiefs
Association; and
WHEREAS,the Association has adopted an agreement for joint and
cooperative use of fire personnel and equipment; and
WHEREAS,The City of Orono believes the effectiveness of fire protection
within the City is improved by adopting this agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Orono City
Council that the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized to execute the
Hennepin County Chiefs Association Joint Cooperative Agreement for Use of Fire
Personnel and Equipment on behalf of the City of Orono as a participating member.
ADOPTED this 23 day of January, 2023, by the City Council of the City of Orono.
