A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE
PREPARATION OF A FEASIBILITY REPORT
FOR A SANITARY SEWER PROJECT
TO SERVE THE NORTH FARM ROAD NEIGHBORHOOD
WHEREAS, the North Farm Road neighborhood residents have presented a petition
requesting a feasibility study for the construction of a sanitary sewer system; and
WHEREAS, it is proposed that the benefited property(s) be assessed for all of the cost of
the improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of Orono,Minnesota
that the proposed improvements be referred to the City Engineer for study, and that the City
Engineer is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a
preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost effective, and
feasible and whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other
improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono this 13th day of September, 2010.
