TO: ALL PARTIES NAMED IN THE EXHIBITS ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A
PART HEREOF:
YOU, AND EACH OF YOU, ARE HF-RtBY NOTIFIED that the City of Orono (the
"Petitioner") has filed its petition (the "petition") with the above-named Court to acquire, by
condemnation, certain property interests situated in Orono, Minnesota, described in the
Exhibits attached hereto and made a part hereof (collectively, the "Property"). The interests
being acquired consist of temporary and permanent easements.
The Property is being acquired to carry out the purposes of Minnesota Statutes, which
cannot be accomplished without government assistance, as more fully set forth in the Petition.
The Petition seeks the appointment by the Court of three (3) Commissioners to
ascertain and report the damages that will be sustained by the owners and an account of the
Property affected by such talking.
The interests in the Property to be taken are, together with the names of all persons
appearing of record or known to the Petitioner to be the owners of or interested in such
Property interests, including all of whom the Petitioner has been able by investigation and due
inquiry to discover, together with the nature of the interests as nearly as can be ascertained,
described in the Exhibits attached hereto and oracle a port hereof.

Petitioner will move the Court for an order pe.rinitting Petitioner to deposit the amount
of Petitioner's approved appraisal for each parcel of the Property into the Court, which
amounts are. specified on Schodulu 1 attached hereto. Such doptosit will thereby transfer title
and right to possession of any easement for which the deposit. is made to the -Petitioner,
effective. on they Quick -Take Date, n.; to queh Easements for which good and rnarkngble title
has not previously been presented to Paidoner by the owner or owners thereof.
Neither the payment to the owner or owners nor deposit into the Court pursuant to
Minn. Suit, § 117.042, as amended, shill prcjudice or affect the right of an owner or owners
to contend for further payment in this proceeding or the right of Petitioner to seek a lesser
payment in this proceeding.
