It has also come to the City's attention that you have various items stored around the properties. The above are in violation of the following ordinances: • Grading and filling without permit - violation of Section 10.56, Subdivision 10. • Grading and filling within 75' of the lake - violation of Section 10.56, Subdivision 16 J(2) � Filling in wetland - violation of Section 10.55, Subdivision 8. • Exterior storage of materials -violation of Section10.60, Subdivision 13 and Section 9.55. This letter is to notify you that the City of Orono takes protection of the lakeshore and wetlands very seriously. Therefore the City must require you to remove the fill from the wetland and replace it at the lakeshore. Erosion control must be in place as soon as possible to prevent soil from entering the lake and wetland. The property also must be cleaned up and the exterior storage eliminated. You should be aware that the City prohibits burying of any items or construction debris(Section 12.09). The City �vill withhold legal action at this time; however, if the property is not brought into compliance before January 5, 2000, the City will issue citations and a court appeazance will be required.
