GRANT OF PERMANENT EASEMENT
FOR PUBLIC ROADWAY PURPOSES
ROBERT D.ERICKSON and LISA S.ERICKSON,married to each other,hereinafter
referred to as "Grantors",in consideration of One Dollar($1.00)and other good and valuable
consideration,the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged,do hereby grant unto
the CITY OF ORONO,a municipal corporation organized under the laws of the State of
Minnesota,the Grantee,hereinafter referred to as the "City", its successors and assigns, forever, a
permanent easement for public roadway purposes over, across, on,under,and through land situated
within the County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota, as described on the attached Exhibit"A"and
depicted on the attached Exhibit"B" (the"Easement Property").
INCLUDING the rights of the City, its contractors,agents, servants, and assigns,to enter
upon the Easement Property at all reasonable times to construct,reconstruct, inspect,repair, and
maintain said public roadway system over, across,on,under, and through the Easement Property,
together with the right to grade, level, fill,drain,pave, and excavate the Easement Property, and the
further right to remove trees,bushes,undergrowth,and other obstructions interfering with the
location,construction, and maintenance of said public roadway system.

The above named Grantors, for themselves,their heirs, successors and assigns,do covenant
with the City, its successors and assigns,that it is well seized in fee title of the above described
Easement Property;that they have the sole right to grant and convey the easement to the City;that
there are no unrecorded interests in the Easement Property; and that they will indemnify and hold
the City harmless for any breach of the foregoing covenants.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF,the Grantors hereto have signed this easement this

EXHIBIT "A"
to
GRANT OF PERMANENT EASEMENT
Those parts of Lots 17 and 18, Block 2, "Hillside Park"which lie within the circumference of a
circle having a radius of 50 feet. Said circle is concentric with a curve having a radius of 40 feet
and passes through the northwest corner of Lot 9, Block 1, "Hillside Park" and passes through a
point on the westerly line of Lot 10, said Block 1, distant 74.16 feet south from said northwest
corner of Lot 9,the center of said curve is on the centerline of West Lake Street abutting said
Lots 17 and 18.
