CITY RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF NO. 2835
ORONO
A RESOLUTION RESTRICTING
PARKING ON PART OF
STUBBS BAY ROAD
WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal organization
under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the City of Orono has authorized certain
improvements to the baseball field at Bederwood Park; and
WHEREAS, increased use of the Park has encouraged
vehicle parking on Stubbs Bay Road adjacent to the Park; and
WHEREAS, parking in this manner is creating a safety
hazard.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Orono City
Council does hereby authorize and direct the Orono Public Works
Department to post "No Parking" on the west side of Stubbs Bay
Road adjacent to the Bederwood Park a distance of 776 . 40 feet .
Adopted by the City Council at a regular Council
meeting July 9 , 1990 .
