A few things I want to make sure of once these applications are completed, approved and paid: 1. We will be good to go ahead and connect our house to the city water. 2. We will be able to bring the city sewer up to the house, but not connect it to our house at this time. 3. We will be able to keep the well on our property active and use it for irrigation only. I have included my husband Joe Swanson and our Project Manader Ron Anderson Construction on this email. Thanks, Zoe Swanson 70 Myrtlewood Road Orono, MN 55391 ________________________________ From: jstruve@ci.orono.mn.us<mailto:jstruve@ci.orono.mn.us> To: zoe24@hotmail.com<mailto:zoe24@hotmail.com> CC: MGaffron@ci.orono.mn.us<mailto:MGaffron@ci.orono.mn.us>; SOberaigner@ci.orono.mn.us<mailto:SOberaigner@ci.orono.mn.us> Date: Mon, 2 Apr 2012 15:29:17 -0500 Subject: 20120402 70 Myrtlewood Rd Zoe, Last week we traded voice messages and spoke about questions you had regarding the sanitary sewer and water connections for your property at 70 Mrytlewood Rd. Your questions centered around connecting your property to the City water system, and stubbing out the sanitary sewer, but capping it and not connecting your property at this time. According to our records, there is a water service stub and a sanitary sewer stub to your property by the edge of the roadway. Therefore it would not be necessary for your contractor to have to dig in the street to make a connection and stub out a sanitary sewer service to your property. We can field verify the actual locations of both services. As for permits, you will need a couple. Orono Supplimental Form – Wayzata – Sewer and Water Pass through connection fees: I attached this to the email in PDF. Sewer and Water Permit: You can download off the City website at http://www.ci.orono.mn.us/vertical/Sites/%7BCBFC8FAF-C313-4854-A229-98A3482257F0%7D/uploads/Sewer__Water_Permit_-_2012_Fees_-_Updated_Surcharge_12-29-11.pdf<http://www.ci.orono.mn.us/vertical/Sites/% 7bCBFC8FAF-C313-4854-A229-98A3482257F0%7d/uploads/Sewer__Water_Permit_-_2012_Fees_-_Updated_Surcharge_12-29-11.pdf> Water Meter Form: I attached this to the email in PDF. There is a cost for the meter which will range from $313-$350 depending on size needed. This will need to be paid when the meter is picked up. Plumbing permit: Not sure if you need this or not. It will depend on what you are doing inside your house which may trigger it. You may want to talk with Lyle Oman our building official to see if you need this or not. His phone number is 952-249-4625. The form location is http://www.ci.orono.mn.us/vertical/Sites/%7BCBFC8FAF-C313-4854-A229-98A3482257F0%7D/uploads/Plumbing_Permit_-_Updated_07-28-11.pdf<http://www.ci.orono.mn.us/vertical/Sites/%7bCBFC8FAF-C313-4854-A229- 98A3482257F0%7d/uploads/Plumbing_Permit_-_Updated_07-28-11.pdf> I believe this is all the permits you may need.
