HomeMy WebLinkAboutSeptic info TO: Street File FROM: Chris Pence, On-Site Syste s Manager DATE: October 25, 2000 SUBJECT: Septic System at 4485 Bayside Road A new house is being constructed at the above stated property. The homeowners are going to live in the existing home and then move into the new home when it is finished. The existing house will then be torn down. According to Joe Haus (homeowner), he is estimating that he will be moving into the home around January 2001. The existing septic system is going to be expanded to meet the capacity of the new house. The existing mound is going to be added onto this fall and used until the new house is ready. Three 1300 gallon septic tanks have been installed for the new house. When the new house is ready to move into, the new tanks (connected to new house) will then be connected to the expanded mound. The existing tanks at the old house will need to be pumped, crushed and filled per Chapter 7080.0176. The final issue is that the existing well at the old house does not meet the 50' setback to the mound. Joe Haus (homeowner), Tony Eiden (general contractor) and Russ Olson (septic contractor) are aware that the existing well will need to be abandoned prior to issuing a certificate of occupancy. The city will need to receive the paper work from the well driller prior to issuance of the certificate of occupancy.. -^' fI ; '` ` 'i , C ITY of OlZUNO , , - ,;. , ' , , , ,; Municipal Offices Street Address: Mailing Address: `qx . pg'G 2750 Kelley Parkway P.O.
