Orono, MN A Compiiance inspection was completed for the xisting on-site sewage treatment system located on this property. The system consists of 2-1000 gailon septic taaks, 1-1000 gallon pumping cha ber 8�a pressurized mound system with a 10'x 50' rock bed for a 4 bedroo home.Soii boring#1 found mottled soil (redox features)at 1.8'into the o�tg nal sofl. Soil boring #3 found the original soll at elev. 97.4 8 the bottom of th rock bed at elev. 98.3 leaving .9' of sand below the rock bed 8 a 2.7's paration from the bottom of the rock bed 8 redox features, Soil 6oring#2 fo nd mottled soil at 2.3' into the original soil. 8oil boring#4 found the origin I soil at elev.87.2 S the bottom of the rock bed at�lev.98.5 leaving 1.3' f sand below the rock bed 8�a 3.6' separation from the bottom of the rock ed & redox features. This system is classified as in compliance with Minn sota Chapter 7080 rules using the 15%reduction allowed. The tanks were pumped &certified by Elmer J. eterson Co. 8 were found to be compliant. It stated that tree roots are eMe ng the riser on the 1•t tank. Nothing other than gray wat�r(laundry,showe etc.)human waste 8 toilet tissue should be disposed of into the septic tan s. Garbage disposals are not recommended due to adding more solids 8 ne solids passing through into the system. Iron filters are also not recom ended 8 should be diverted out oi the system. Excessive amounts of spaps antibacterial soaps, cleaning agents,shower cleaners used every s ower 8 chlorine agents may kill the bacterfa you need living In the system. dditives are not recommended. Recommend to pump 8 cle�an y u tanks through the manhole by a certlfied pumper every 2 years. Check wit your pumper to set up a schedule.
