Dear Mr. Levang:
This letter is regarding the large ice dam that is forining in your backyard. It appears that
the ice is from sewage surfacin�from your septic system. Your drainfield or septic tanl<s
may be fi•ozen and it is not cturently worlcing properly. This is an iinrninent health tlueat
that must be repaired ASAP. Please contact a septic pumper or designer to lool< into the
surfacing drainfield.
Your septic system is classified as "non-compliant" and nnist be replaced by 12-31-2010
or if it starts to surface earlier. Before you stick in to much inoney in repairing yotu
current drainfield you may think of replacing it since it must be done by 2010 anyway.
Replacement camiot happen until this spring so we need to figure out a solution for this
this winter.
Please contact ine ASAP so we can figure this out and get it talcen care of. My number is
