RE: Stubbs Bay Sewer Connection Program
Dear John:
We recently discussed the issue of the Sewer Availability Charges (SAC) involved in the
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funded connections in the referenced project.
To summarize our discussion, we agreed that Hennepin County would reimburse the city of
Orono for the SAC payments when the individual hookup was completed and the City
submitted a Warrant Request. Along with the Warrant Request please include copies of the
checks used for payment and statements of charges paid (in lieu of invoices). We can process
the reimbursements as the individual connections are made or, if the City prefers, on one
Warrant Request when all of the CDBG assisted work is completed.
Please notify me at your earliest opportunity if any of the above is inconsistent with your
account of our conversation.
Sincerely, '

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Balgaard:
Your 16-month deadline for connection to City sewer has just expired. Our records indicate that
no permit has been issued to this property for the required connection.
A new connection deadline of September 15, 1994 has now been set. Failure to make
connection by this date will likely result in legal action from the City Attorney. Questions or
concerns should be addressed to Steve Weckman at the City offices (473-7357).
