The Council members interviewed the candidates. Council discussed the candidates and

Kjersti Duval and Gordy Stofer will be appointed to serve until the current terms expire
on March 1, 2023. Cameron Porter will be appointed to serve as alternate until the term
expires on March 1, 2023.
2. Prosecuting Attorney Services Discussion
City Administrator Adam Edwards began discussion with a brief background of the
City's use of Prosecuting Attorney Services. He noted the contract will be expiring in
March 2022, and there may be some interest with neighboring Cities to engage in a group
contract for services.
Police Chief Correy Farniok mentioned that he met with the police commission and
inquired about what other cities were doing and if asked if they would be interested in
discussing a group contract for services. Farniok noted it could be a 6-9 month process to
determine if this is something the city should pursue.
Mayor Dennis Walsh, noted that staff should notify Tallen of this discussion and see if
they would be willing to extend their contract until a decision is made.
The Council members consented that it would be a good idea to get it on order now.
