This letter, along with a copy of the approved OSTP As-Built Form, serves as the Certificate of
Compliance for the Subsurface Sewage Treatment System (SSTS) installation at 250 Wakefield Road in
the City of Orono. The design was reviewed, a permit was issued, the installation was inspected, and
final approval has been granted for use in compliance with the approved OSTP As-Built Form.
As a reminder, proper care and maintenance in accordance with your SSTS management plan is needed
in order to extend the life of your septic system. County Ordinance requires your septic system be
pumped every three years or as necessary to maintain the life of the system.
