RESOLUTION NO. 2001-01
RESOLUTION REQUESTING CITY COUNCIL
ACTION ON ORONO WOODS TAX INCREMENT
FINANCING PLAN AND HOUSING PROGRAM
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners (the "Board") of the Orono
Housing and Redevelopment Authority (the "HRA") of the City of Orono, Minnesota, as
follows:
Section 1. BACKGROUND.
1. There has been presented to this Board drafts of the Tax Increment Financing Plan
and Development Plan and a Housing Program(together the "Plans")relating to the financing of a
62-unit multifamily housing facility for seniors(the "Project"). Those Plans describe a proposal to
provide tax increment assistance pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.174 to 469.179 and
the issuance of housing revenue bonds under Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462C.
Section 2. HRA ACTION.
2. The City Council is hereby requested to conduct public hearings on the Plans.
Adopted by the Orono HRA of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held this
23rd day of April, 2001.
