During a tank inspection in the spring it was found that the tank risers leak excessively as well as the tank lid during the springtime and times of heavy rains. Though the tanks are compliant it has been decided to replace the septic tanks. The existing tanks will be pumped, crushed, and abandoned. The new tanks will be placed slightly north in a new area of the yard. The mainline will be dug back to the home and a new 30 feet of mainline will be installed. The new mainline will lead to the new 2000 -gallon Brown Precast septic tank. (Model #2000 -ST) From the septic tank effluent will gravity feed a l000 - gallon Brown Precast pump tank. (Model #i000PT) A new Gould WE0511H pump will be installed, new piping and a new demand dose electrical panel. The new pump tank will then be connected to the existing mound supply line. Upon completion of the installation of the new tanks all the manhole covers will be brought to grade. All work must be completed according to the MPCA codes for Chapter 7o80.
