To whom it may concern,
I was contacted by Todd Urness to design new septic tanks for the house at 2630
Countryside Drive. In the City of Orono. The results of the design are as follows.
The existing mound septic system was installed in 1995 and has an approximately 10 X
63 -foot rock bed that is compliant, 2- approximately 1300 -gallon septic tanks and 1 -1300 -gallon
lift station. The existing tanks are non -watertight and must be replaced. The existing grade at the
first existing tank is at elv-99.3 The top of the existing first tank is at elv-97.9. The top of the
existing lift station is at elv-97.5. This design proposes the existing tanks be removed and a new
2250 -gallon combination septic tank and a 1300 -gallon lift station be replaced in the same
location. The top of the new tanks needs to have 2.0 feet of cover over them. This will put them
0.6 feet deeper than the existing tanks. The original design pump curve will stay the same.
