No 627 — State License #394 — Phone 763-497-3566 — Fax 763-497-5Q11 www.sptesting.wastewater@comcast.net — schirmerswastewater.com June 10, 2021 Roger Riley 345 Spring Hill Rd. Orono, MN A compliance inspection was completed for the existing on-site sewage treatment system located on this property. The system consists of an Other System under Minnesota Chapter 7080.0178 built on 11-1-07 for a 5 bedroom home. There is a 2000 gallon trash trap, dosing tank (750 trash -1250 pump #1) with a timer dosing 15.6 gal/every 30 minutes to a 750 gallon Multi -Flo pre-treatment unit, then flowing gravity to a 1500 gallon pumping chamber (pump #2) which pumps to a raised seepage bed. The fill, compacted & clay soil was removed & backfilled with washed sand. The elevation in the original design at the bottom of the rock was 88.5. The bottom of the rock was found at elev. 88.6. 2 inspection pipes were installed, one at the bottom of the rock & 1 at the bottom of the sand fill. The elev. At the top of the inspection at the south pipe was at 90.9 & the bottom of the rock 88.6 (2.3'). The elev. At the top of the inspection pipe at the north pipe was at 91.0 & the bottom of the sand fill elev. 84.1 (6.91) with the bottom of the rock to the bottom of the sand 4.51. The seepage bed has been monitored annually by Schirmers Wastewater Treatment Systems since the system has been installed which has found both inspection pipes to be dry at the time of monitoring. The Multi -Flo has been serviced 2 times annually since it was installed by Schirmers Wastewater Treatment Systems. An annual contract is required for both (see monitoring & service contracts). The Multi -Flo is time dosed with a maximum of 15.6 gal/every 30 minutes, so hydraulic overloading cannot take place in the seepage bed. if over water use or toilet running, etc. there is an alarm to let you know. Highly recommend the iron filter in the home be diverted out into its own trench, etc. The tanks were pumped & certified by Kothrade Sewer Water & Excavating. Schirmers Wastewater cleaned out the Multi -Flo & filter socks. For proper use of the system see the attached Multi -Flo care sheet. The system meets the required 3' separation from the bottom of the seepage bed & redox features & is classified as in compliance with Minnesota Chapter 7080.07 78 rules. Annual monitoring of the system is required right after installation. 2020 Service contract for Multi -Flo is $250.00, monitoring bed 7 x a year is $50.00 when we service the Multi -Flo & & $90.00 for a fecal coliform test. This price does not include new bulbs or labor for the UV light. Price subject to change. An operating permit is required with the County at all times. Steven B. Schirmers This compliance requires the signature of an Advanced Designer due to the system being classified as an Other System. Bernie Miller 345 Spring Hill Rd. Date 4 S -P TESTING, INC. Steven B.
