Ms. Frickstad appeared in court on April 28 and we resolved the above two cases. One
was a hard cover surface violation and the other was failing to properly maintain the yard and
grounds at the above address. Ms. Frickstad pled guilty to the hard surface violation and the
other case was dismissed as part of the plea negotiation. She received a stay of adjudication on
the guilty plea and she will pay $1000.00 in costs to the City. As long as she has no new zoning
and/or property maintenance -type violations at the end of the year, the plea will be vacated and
the case dismissed. The $1000.00 is due within 30 days.
Ms. Frickstad told me that they have now contracted with a professional lawn
maintenance company to keep the property up to code and that she and her family will be
moving in this summer to ensure that there are no future, violations. Please keep an eye on the
property for me and if there are violations contact me as soon as possible. Thanks for your help
on this case.
